TENDRO

TENDRO is a project that reinvents the concept of the everyday object that we do not want to show, especially the clothesline. We turn it into an object to display works of art or a mirror. As long as its use is not required, it is a sheet where a painting is hung, but when necessary, it comes out of the frame to extend some thermal rods that will dry in an optimal way.

In the following image we can see TENDRO in open position, where you can hang the clothes.

In the next image we can see TENDRO in closed position, where it becomes a sheet and the space can be used normally.

to remain static once opened, it has a sliding stopper. When you want to close it, it has a magnet that will help to raise it and keep it up.

This is the physical model that was made to check the ergonomics of the movement.
The name is created through the two Spanish words for clothesline (tendedero) and insideĀ (dentro). It is a way to imply that it is a clothesline designed to be inside the home, later we created a logo thinking about the shape of the rods.
